Stoughton Nov 25th 1932 Dear Doris This has been a better day than yesterday even I have been down town this afternoon + Perry + a Mr Chase who was visiting there over the holiday, with his wife went over to the Blake house with Ralphs keys + shut down the window. now every thing apparently seems all right + if I see Ralph the keys can be returned as he requested. but the side door can't be opened it sticks. I can turn the key, but the door sticks since it was painted. I have got some russet apples about two pecks. a tree that never is gathered, it hung full this year + I pick them up from time to time, a young tree. they will be all I need for a long time to come we eat a good many baked. I made an apple pie Monday the last of my northern slugs I baked. I met Louie Dykemans wife down street with her daughter she was very cordial her daughter, Lego wife, is mortal homely.
