Stoughton Nov 16th 1932 Dear Doris This has been a warm day with a south wind it rained a little in the night tonight it seems to be clouding up + guess it means a change in temperature no doubt. I have been out doors raking up leaves + sitting out for it seems like summer weather. I guess your weather down there is cooler than common perhaps. I have nothing of importance to write about there is not much going on around us in the town I sometimes wish there might be some one to run in once in a while so I could speak to them but no one comes near us. I dont even see Talbot or jim these days but Pa says he dont want to see any body and I guess they all know it by this time. I work a little then read a while then eat + go to bed nothing very exciting in my life well I am well + it might be a great deal worse. I was glad to know Gregory had struck a job. wish it might have been nearer town. he will have to make long hours. They are trying to start a red cross
