Don't worry any about my financial affairs. I don't think I am very poor for I counted $70 I have in the house. I was looking over my bills & I found I ordered my last ton of coal July 1st & there's more than enough to get me through this month & oil will go two weeks unless we have some mighty cold weather which we don't much expect this month. There over a very white frost but it removed itself before noon. we have not had any snow storms here yet thank goodness. I guess Wyrtil expects to hang around for another job. Carter told her she was not working. don't like her cousin & she& Alice don't get along any too swell, they are all touchy home to be handled with gloves. Pa is still sleeping in the north room we take our stones to bed every night, and that keeps us warm enough. Shane to go to bed when he does he is just as you used to be when you were little only I don't have to hold his hand. I may though have to later on; well such is life we depend on each other. Eugene & Dennis are without their greatest & are to be . Nellie was faithful as long as she lived to her family.
