Dear Doris

A little cooler this morning the windows up stairs were frost but it is good [[&?]] sunny all day.
I have just been down to [[aliees?]] & saw his cousin Mrs. Packard who is very cordial when you get acquainted she gets me my books out of the library & is very obliging 
Percy still sticks to his job nights. I had to get my [[?]] at the ten cent store 3b a big lunch for 1o cts. it seems good to get out in the good air & walk after being [[?]] in once Sunday. Lottie [[Stieleney?]]  died yesterday afternoon & the funeral is tomorrow afternoon at 2 from [[Lowe & Powers?]] undertaking rooms 115 Monk Street. one on of his girls ought to take care of Old Fred [[Stieleney?]], but probably little Fred will have to be the one. she has been an [[awful]] trial no one could get any sleep out of her head & [[parcially?]] paralyzed one side of her talked all the time like [[Granma?]].
I did not get it about whether you wanted two dresses for those charity children, or [[aprons?]] and as I never saw them I don't know how large to make them so perhaps
