he looked very thin  he was terribly worried over his wifes condition said as a last resort he took her into the hospital last week but was afraid she would never be any better as her age was against her. I pitied him & am afraid he will go crazy over it as its natural to the Funekes to be so. he's brother to Marys husband Charley.
  
I have my heat on to day.  Arthur has just turned it off & there is a good hot fire in the stove I think of Lena she wants to come nearer us to live  I was thinking of Harolds widow I saw her the other day in the store & she had not made any change. do you suppose they could fit in together? Lena has seen her she & Harold & the little girl came here one night while Lena was here. between them they might afford the rent. its a nice up to date tenement & she goes out to work day times is neat & a good nurse they say.

I might suggest it to Lena she hates to go away up to Willmington & you cant blame her no one there that she knows & so far from everybody.
