This is as fine a day as one could ask for cool + sunny. I have just had my nap + Pa is quiet after two + every body gone [[?]] to the next house gone.

The Seriaaeks [[?]] were over early this morning. + the car was packed + after attending mass they all started the night before they were packing when I went[[?]] up to bed so to go right from church to Provincetown Gertrude went in to Boston last night + she with some of the girls I think, were
going earlier, so to get the two cottages they were to occupy, often for the crowd. Thet are to be gone two weeks, the Brother has his vacation down there with them. he has been here at home one week, working around their place. They are French people, it came out in her talk with me
