It seems he went to the bath room pretty soon
he called for Helen to come + said "I am sorry see
what a mess I have made here." she says "never
mind Pa I can easily clean that up" + then he
began to sink down, she found she couldn't
hold him + called for the cousin who was
staying. there, an elderly lady. togather they
gently lowered him to the floor + they called
the doctor who pronounced him dead.
the funeral will take place this afternoon.
We are not all as lucky to go that way with out pain
or suffering. its much harder to live + see them
suffer + have their faculties gradually have them
from day to day, say what you will. Pa is quiet to
a certain extent. he has had a good nap + he just came
down + eat a large piece of berry pie + has gone back
up stairs 'tis cool up there now but later the roof gets hot
but I dont think he minds heat as he does cold. Ma
