ARTHUR L. HOLMES 290 WALNUT STREET STOUGHTON, MASS. July 8th 1932 Doris, I am looking for it to rain it is cloudy & looks as though it might but it is hard to bring. I have been out in the field & the berries seem to ripen & are far from drying up. there are a lot of green ones as its a little early for the black huckleberries to be ripe. I see them go by with pails. I suppose the high bush ones must be ripening. I was provoked today Pa was going to begin his dinner by eating custard pie. I had his baked potato but had not got it pared. I made him stop & eat as he ought to. but he did not relish doing so. he likes also to eat things out of the dish they were [[top margin]] PS. I have 12 sheets all told I only use them in summer I like unbleached they wash easier & pillow cases those all ready made are never long enough but I don't need any more Ma PS We got a regular down pour a good shower & its doing good, came in time we may get more through the night Ma [[/top margin]]
