threats and the exhibition of weapons, have threatened to do your Petitioner great bodily harm. For these and other reasons your Petitioner Prays. That the contract between your Petitioner and the said Noble Lea, be declared cancelled. That said Lea be allowed $60 for the rent of his house and a reasonable sum per acre for the use of his land in lieu of the one bale of cotton he could have claimed has he not violated his contract. That Petitioner be authorized to charge Lea a resonable sum for the lands cleared & fences put up upon his place. And also that Lea be condemned to allow your Petitioner a reasonable sum for the 1 1/4 acre of land taken from Petitioner & cultivated for his own use. And your Petitioner also prays for all such other and further relief as his cause upon investigation may entitle him to receive.
