My examination of a large number of excellent plates showing very faint stars taken between Dec.22 ^[[1890]], and Nov. 14, 1903 fails to show any trace of this star except [[strikethrough]] I16672 [[/strikethrough]] I16572 on which it is fainter than when first visible. It is probably a new star, on such an inference might be drawn from this examination
