80 [[underline]] February 16, 1906 [[/underline]] +21° 1609. R.A.7 23.3+21 9.1 (1900.) = N.G.C.2392, D'Arrest, 1872. (See note on Gas. Neb. MM.S.). This may have been a new star shortly before the time of D'Arrest's observation. Plates I26125 and I33713, taken on November 21, 1900 and November 27, 1905, show no trace of the bright lines characteristic of gaseous nebulae. The spectrum is superposed on that of +21° 1610 maps. 80, but the portion visible appears to be that of a star of the growth type. The images on the chart plates, however, are hazy as compared with those of adjacent starts. They also seem to show slight changes to brightness Plate A6665, April 16, 1904, shows distinct nebulosity especially well marked on the preceding and southern edges of the image.
