Record of Exam. of Spectrum Plates of R Coronae and R Y Sagittarii, made after explaining and showing to W. J. Cannon, the similarity in spectra of these stars, and also the probability of their composite character of these two stars are they spectra. The bright lines of slightly shorter lambda than eta delta and eta gamma, probably belong to a close spectroscopic comp. The lines in R. Y Sagittarii are always hazy and show slight changes in their relative positions. These changes in R Coronae have been suspected for several months. The plates compared were
