namely, Pentacrinus Wyville-Thomsoni, from the Eastern Atlantic, and the Antedon phalangium , from the coast of Tunis, both collected in 1870, by H. B. M. S. Porcupine. Many specimens of Gammarus  and two specimens of leeches, collected in Missouri, were presented by Mr. R. Ellsworth Call, and a specimen of Sebastes marinus invested with a new and large species of lernaean [[a character mark above "ae"]] parasite, was received from Mr. E. G. Blackford, of New York.
