Accessions.-- From Henry Hemphill were received three specimens of a rare sea-urchin, Lovenia condiformis Lütken, from San Diego, Cal.; from P.H. Carpenter, thirteen microscopie slides of foraminifera, and one slide of annelid tubes, additional to the accession received in February; from H. Loomis, a cluster of barnacles from Yokohama, Japan, a part of small accession received in March.
Specimens for examination and report, which were afterward returned to the donors, were received from the following: H. Jaske, Dayton, Ohio, small fragment of coral, Millepora alcicornis Linn.; Mrs. W. Caughman,
