[[underline]]Accessions[[/underline]]. - Five accessions were received during the two months. The most valuable was sent by the British Museum, London, in exchange for one of the so-called London series of duplicates, prepared at the time of the London Fisheries Exhibition in 1883, but not transferred to the British Museum until last June. The set just received comprises 95 species, exclusive of Mollusks, distributed among the different groups of invertebrates, and collected chiefly by H.M.S. Challenger. Many of the species are new to this department.
