Mrs. Benedict and Miss Rathbun were present during the month. Dr. Zumbroch has rendered valuable service in translating from the German. A laborer has been supplied by the Department of Fishes, whenever needed. 

Researches - Mr. Benedict continued his researches on on the Elupaguricluê. His preliminary descriptions of 37 new species were published this month. Miss Rathbun submitted a list of Crustacea collected in Texas by B. W. Evermann, Nov. and Dec., 1891, for publication by
