Dear Doris

The same cloudy weather but warmer, the sun did shine out a little yesterday afternoon. but everything seems to come along. my cellar is full of water so when I go down after coal, I am careful to look where I step. water seems to be the only thing thats plenty now a days. but fur comes next I think. I sent my first lettuce Thursday with the Knapp check so you could surely find it when you reached home. was it there? then I did not write again till Sunday + then every day after it I might have skipped a day , but think not 7 in all. I have just got Pa fixed up with all clean clothes without any fussing. I guess Harris will come today to shave him, as he did not show up Friday Pa discovered a new robins nest just begun on the front porties the cats get to them every year, its really to bad, but what can you do? It looks now as if the sun would come out soon. the paper said cloudy, I wish that Doris wasnt such a little coward she will bother you about sleeping out now + what then can you do?
