Harris has just been here to share Pa he was interested to see those snap shots you sent. I have just washed out my clothes but am not going to hang them out theres no sun & may be tomorrow will be pleasant. this is a red bird morning lots of them in the back yard the blue jay is thinking of building in the little pine they are flying in & out every little while. The jonquils are full of buds some have three in a clump the quince bush is full of buds this year also. I told Maude she might have one of those little ones down at the corner last year, but she has forgotten it probably. they are too near the street. my red bud is also full of buds. I am just through my dinner. we had a beef stew & plumb pudding & apple pie. 10 cents worth of stew meat. I went down yesterday but the bank was closed Saturday couldn't get the check cashed, so will go again tomorrow forenoon. will send off the little dressed I made for Dorisid & a few of the snap shots. they were very good most of them only three rather light ones among them. this day remains cloudy & warm. Suppose you are riding. just a week ago you got back I wonder if you are rested up from so long a trip. I think Mrs. Elmer is home from her southern recreation for I see her light every night. her grandaughter was in the earthquake quarters they were well shaken up but lucky to escape any serious casualty. I would not care about being there. living in Old Nesugland is is safe as any place there is if if there is safety any where. we never know when or how we will go well I will stop as there is nothing more to write Ma
