ails her an only child & was always pampered. Alice says & Myrtie too she gets on their nerves. but she seems to like me and is kind hearted. she emphasizes her words like Sue & the rest of that family & thinks her idea of things about right. I am sitting in the sun writing this letter & it seems good & warm, the wind has gone down & it is a trifle warmer. I hate this windy weather, but March is yet to come.

Talbot says the Chronicle people "hot foot" it down to his house now to get the article he writes for their paper every week he enjoys waiting for their benefit & gives him some thing to do. yesterday he brought up his paper for us to read. it sounds like him Pa did not care for it. he got sick of him & guess Talbot saw it. well he does stay too long. I like to hear him go on but Pa gets too tired. well I guess its time to start his supper. he still eats the berries & they do the work & no need of his fig syrup, he hates that.

I am not sewing, but working on the sweater. Ma
