Dear Doris

The sun at last. Well the storm we find did a lot of damage as it raged along the coast at different places. Hummerock [[Humarock]], Situate, Brant rock, & Nantasket the Brockton paper was full of it. it was of long duration & mighty disagreeable while it lasted. it seems good to have the sun with us once more. The wind rattling the window woke Pa last night & I had to go in & quiet him. usually he sleeps pretty sound thats one good thing about it. so it might be worse & he always has an hours nap in the afternoon. I got him oranges the other day, but he will drink the juice after I have got it out for him, too much work otherwise. I suppose it is because he has no teeth, well its no trouble to take the lemon squeezer & get the juice, really its the easiest way to eat them I think. I have hung out & dried my clothes & there was plenty of wind to dry them left over from the storm. we did not have much snow enough to make it slippery but with plenty of sunshine it will soon go. I am sure it will be another storm its clearing off int the night so. the baker this morning said another one near at hand.
