I have not seen Mrs. Tobin since she moved. her husband took the boy & she has the little girl. I suppose Anna Monk goes there & could tell you all about their disagreement but I can't. There's one things I do know she has put up a good fight to make a living & I hope she will win her way in the world yet. I am still at my patch work. the new pieces you sent work in well. I hope little Doris is behaving well & doing her lessons in reading. she will be a big girl & will soon go off with his little bag of books to school, with the rest of the schollars [[scholars]] & she must be as smart if not smarter, than the rest of them. she will play at recess & they will like her because she knows as much as they do & can read her lesson & write her name on the paper. wont it be lovely. It is getting along towards tea time & we will draw this to a finish for this time. I must see to the fire Pa is getting restless so he wants his supper. its clouding up going to rain tonight the paper says. Ma
