its lucky we dont [[don't]] know what our ending will be. There isn't a day passes without I look over to Nellies & forget she is not there. I cant [[can't]] seem to forget that she is not in life. I dont [[don't]] know how Dennis & Jane do without her, but I see their light in the early part of the evening & they run the house it seems. They are without nerves & take life in their quiet way. But it must be a great loss to both families. Now is the time that Alice is needed, but she was bound to become a nun. I don't believe there was one of her family that was reconciled to it.
