Think of getting out the two can never get along that certain & the sooner they separate the better. people are lucky to have a home of their own I guess.

This afternoon the wind got out of the east, into the south, so its warm & as pleasant a  day as we have had for a week. I hope you are having the same down there so you get out to ride. When do you expect to go for the Florida trip? the change might do you both good. before it seemed to tide you over. My plants are doing well I give them all the sun there is, by changing them around, the lobster cactus has over twenty blossoms & as many buds. you were here to see it last year & I [[?]] her father stopped at the house on their walk & found you remember. I had no card from her this year she sent that picture. I have made two squares of patchwork its very facinating [[fascinating]] a new pattern its half squares light & dark 9 in a big square three rows very simple & pretty. Celia made one once. so I have the quilt & thought I would make one. I think there will be pieces enough to make the quilt. I shant [[shall not]] finish it perhaps this winter. I am sending you some of his letter the whole would be to bulky & call for more postage so you can eimagine [[imagine]] the rest no wonder Lena has to get away from the old thing if she dont have a fit of sickness out of her actions she will be lucky. I am sorry for her living in such a hell I am afraid I would not stand it as well as she does too bad. Ma.
