told me this morning he was working but had been out of work a great deal ever since he married. their father is caring for Lon Thompson he is a good hand every one says I dont [[don't]] suppose he would have any one else.

The Concords sent me a card Xmas. I have not heard whether he is working still.

The sun is unusually bright no cloud is to be seen in the sky. but as it cleared in the night another storm must be near at hand always, let us hope it wont be another snow storm.
