PIPING THE DANCES

Monday Night
Despite the near-zero weather, the little dolls and the Lotharios turned out in customary numbers Monday night and made merry becomingly. Those janes do dress, as witness:
A dress of flowered chenille, trimmed at the hem with ermine, with swinging panels of chenille in the back, black satin slippers and hose.
A dress of green, flowered silk, trimmed with gold lace, gold hose and gilt slippers.
A dress of maroon satin, circular skirt trimmed with circles of marabeau feathers, black satin slippers and hose.
A brown beaded dress, brown lace hat, brown suede slippers and hose.
A black satin-faced mah jong suit, embroidered in flowers, with a collar of extreme height, black satin slippers and light hose.
A dress of black lace, worn with a white slip, bass effect, embroidered with diminutive roses, black slippers and hose.
A dress of black, satin-faced canton crepe, skirt embroidered with roses, long sleeves with similar embroidery, seal collar, black satin slippers and hose.
A dress of green canton crepe, pleated apron-front skirt, grey collar piped in green, black satin slippers and hose.

Another, the wife of a well-know
