William J Powell, 4600 Wabash Ave., has had one of the best equipped and most thoroughly modern gas and oil filling stations in the city. Prompt service, uniform courtesy and the intelligent anticipation of the wants of patrons have won a splendid patronage from all.

One success frequently paves the way for another. On Aug. 23 Mr. Powell will open his newly constructed modern 150- car garage across the street from his filling station, at 4627 Wabash Ave. The building was designed by Charles Duke, architect.

There is a large sales room in front containing a complete line of auto mobile accessories and radio supplies and adjoining is the electrical repair room under the supervision of [[?]] University of Illinois.
