Dear Doris.

Cooler to day with the wind in the East. Last night was the first night that I got much sleep since this trouble began. The night was not so long + any pain not so intense. I was pretty stiff when it came morning though. to day I went down + was treated very much the same except when the current was turned on I was put into a chair, + was not electrocuted some thing similar to the way they treat criminals, but in a milder form. They turn on the current + it goes all through your body + then they give your body a shock with a cold douch + then the Dr gives you a good massage treatment. he is sort of magnetic a large power ful man. the nurses are nice + agreeable. I am passive in their hands + wonder what comes next as every thing is new to me. I had Pa change all his under clothes early as I could soak them out + get then washed + put on the line to day as soon as possible. Then I got an early dinner + they come for me earlier than they did yesterday. I have just come in after taking my sun bath on the cess pool floor + made junkets for Pa + my supper. I am going to have a cup of celery soup that was left from my dinner.
