Dear Doris

We are having sunless weather days. our thundershowers did not cool us off much but did damage by lightning, struck the Lindeloph[[guess]] factory & severn people in the concern none killed though.
Mrs. Gilzers boy was rushed to the hospital last night for appendecitis but they were undecided as to its being such & are going to investigate further & they think it some glandula trouble & give glandula treatments of some sort. ostopath doctor she knows is to treat him there in the hospital. they left him there for examination. she came over after she got home with my junket tablets. I got some more today. Frances Toomey came with an old package she had in the house & going early asked him to bring them over so not to disturb me at severn oclock. Frances made me quite a call but was dressed in his old clothes his hair is pretty & waved as though he had just had it done by machine his mother is bent over some with rheumatism in her back he says. Jack has just called me up & says his back is much better he thinks his electrical treatments have been a benefit two dolls a treatment not many could afford it at that rate.
