Dear Doris

Still cloudy & comfortably cool no rain very funny weather for the time of year.

Ralph & Maude came towards night they seemed the same neither had grown thin during their sick spell, she wants me to teach her that pattern of my last quilt the half squares light & dark you carried home. Mrs Gilzer came while they were here.

I managed to get Pa's clothes changed today after a great struggle. his obstinacy is strong. I have got them soaking & tomorrow will boil them out. mine I did yesterday & they are ready to air after leaving them out over night. I have ordered some lamb for a small stew & will put it on as soon as it comes. so to have it for dinner. I had bad night & have had only nap so far. may get in another to night after supper as I feel greatly in need of one. I made junkets & some yellow & stewed some prunes for Pa. hope you are trying to rest up a bit
