Dear Doris,

This is a cloudy day paper talks of showers. its still, no air stirring, so towards night showers might seem possible. I have been laying down since dinner. I feel sore & stiff. Mrs Harringtons Christian Science crowd came here about five last night & we drove down to Morts to see Mother Eddies picture. I had previously been telling them about & which Mort was only too glad to show them. they seemed pleased with the likeness I think & spoke of coming out again to see it. we said all we could as to its being as near like her when she was living at our house. They came in their auto four of them & were to eat their lunch which they brought with them as they were on their way home. I spoke of the old place & said how long she lived with us & there she was writing her first book & Crafts was her first student & that my mother was the second. they seemed in love with her & I said nothing against her in any way shape or form. so thats the way the thing rests. It does no harm to advertize the [[?]]
