hot weather. the best part of your life you are living in such a climate & both of you keyed up to the highest pitch. I would give a good deal if things were different it hardly page there's only one life to live. Pa has come down for his dinner getting uneasy. its growing muggy. I am sure we will get another shower before might the way things look now. we are waiting for Frank Monk to come with the milk & then have a map. I told her yesterday I was sorry that Mrs. Gilzer was going away from the neighborhood. that there was lots of christianity to her, for all she belonged to no church & performed no thing, that she was always ready to help any one in trouble. going to church was all right if one lived up to its teachings. but very few do. Mrs. Toomey was over there yesterday she changes but very little in the looks. has grown taller they say she cooks before going to work in the office but Frances does most of the house work rather than him help. this mother is a partial invalid but braces up so Mrs. B says its as the family can all work to gather & never be separated until the final one they are congenial a rare thing in a family.
I here got plenty to read today but have not the ambition to go at it. I feel lame all once. but much better than said yesterday. I will be all right tomorrow & get my appetite. Pa has just gone up from the supper of bread & butter & orange jello with tea, its warm but a good breeze all day. Ma
