I have been trying to fasten up the rambler it has been on the ground since the house was painted. I cant reach up far enough to do it as it ought to be done, but after it blossoms I will cut some of it down. it needs as man as Mr Ballentine often says, but I am afraid of falling & it is not worth risking my neck over. Dorie's letter was the best yet, very neat & plain. We have just eaten our supper custard pie & Pa is hovering over this table. he ate a good supper & I wonder if the pie remains on the plate or it disappears while I am finishing the letter. he is pretty still half of the pie was eaten at supper. I hope it is as nice tomorrow as its been to day. we  have such changeable weather one day hot & the next cold no wonder people get a cold. Mystic is awful large you never say such ankles & legs on one before. I don't know when she will stop doing nothing & eating will be her finish I fear. Mildred is going to take boarders she has quite a family to cook for without extra ones I should think lucky she is easy going theres a limit to every one. & I am afraid she will find it before long Ma,
