Dear Doris

Its a nice cool day with the wind N East. I have washed out all my clothes & dried them quickly on the line. yesterday early in the morning I called up Cline to come down early & take my ice chest away. as I was going to have a new one installed. so he had hardly got away with it through the back way. before Louie & his cousin appeared to move over the other one from the next house. Louie said it was well worth the money I paid for it, as it was almost like a new one. & just right in size a little over 40 inches high & about 26 inches wide with a good big space for ice & a big pan to catch all the water. she seemed pleased to get rid of it so easy. Gertrud told her to let me have it for six dollars. so I think I am lucky to get it with no more trouble. I bought my old chest of Consider Southworth fifty years ago & it lasted a good long time. it has looked so bad it was no earthly good to any body. I am ever so pleased with this one White Mountain refridgerator its handier than a chest & I can keep my milk in the upper part beside the ice when I take ice as yet I have not had to get any its cool weather yet. up here
