Louie has got a few things more to do towards finishing the job of painting the house. he said it had taken darn near as much paint to do the house as it had the old place. I told him to hurry up & make out his bill so you could have it as soon as possible. as you were in a hurry to get it out of the bank already the share had matured so you expected. well this day is as beautiful as last Sunday was. every body is riding off & are happy to all appearances. Pa is very quiet he has just been down to eat his supper. Mrs Ballentine called me once to see her frigidair its the second one. she did not like her other one, too noisy. this was a higher priced one & cost over two hundred dollars. the girls wanted it she said, she gave in to them. she gave us some fudge & showed me over the house. her Addie is a genius, like all hunch backs theres nothing but what she can do. I wish you could see her fancy lamps & shades she has made. she also paints pictures. & makes all their dresses. Gertrude is the sweetest by far & very modest appearing. well this is all I have to tell Ma.
