just starting with his brother on their days work. So I just caught him and told him I would not bother. Louie is trustworthy. I feel he would be honest with us. Louie is now painting the front portico with the vines all twisted around the rail, it is hard to do but he is used to it I hope. I don't think I have room in the garden for any more vegetables. We don't care for carrots they come aroun on the teams very fresh & cheap if we wish for any. Pa don't care for anything but sweets. Any meat or fish I get he never eats. The same with vegetables. He picks at the table. & begins with pie or pudding & so many times he eats standing up. He woke me up at a little after four & wanted to know what he was going to put on. The change in temperature after I changed onto his summer flannels made him cold yesterday, but today is sunny & warmer so he is all right. He is getting used to painting & don't mind it so much but keeps out of sight. Ma
