other she has lots of flowers her front walk is a rock garden & she stays out of doors most all day even has her nap in the arbor. she understands the habits of flowers & gives up all her time to them. she has just been down to Washington & asked about you & said that her daughter was some acquainted with you. they say she is out of doors most all day. two bath rooms in the house & an open fireplace, she says she has every comfort there. I would like to have Lena near us. so guess I will write her about it no harm in their talking it over. & it my be a go. It had begun to cloud up since supper time. our robin has tried to build a different nest each day. now she is carrying her grass & twigs up the conductor pipe at the corner of the bay window. she has a different place every morning poor thing. Pa is reading his paper since supper then he lies down & has maps untill it's time to go off to bed at night. but does not undress untill he is sure I am going to bed. tomorrow I will have to go down after my shoes. I met Joe Capers & had a talk with him he is going down to his shore place soon now. he is having the house shingled first his place looks well taken care of. but he has got plenty to do it with. well this is all for this time.
