but as it seems like a rain, the window was open far enough so it would rain in & spoil the plastering. he said "the window was always open" under his breath. I felt sensitive over it & dont care to make any trouble for any one. but will do as you see fit to have me, keep the key or give it back to him. I have just been out to dig dandelions they are not very plenty but I have managed to get enough for a mess. they are good for me in the spring of the year I get as much of the root as I can Lena cuts that off. thinks its not clean I suppose, its the bitter part which is the strength. Gladys was riding yesterday with friends from Everette she had been up into the old neighborhood & stopped here & went down to Alices she has grown pretty but I am afraid she is growing stout. she has no job, but was dressed fine. she had on a blue suit & a new hat. she is very tasty. her mother is not working. her knees are bothering her Gladys said I gave her two or three Jonquils just the blossoms & some star of bethlehem bulbs to give to  Charley. our grounds are covered with the darned things. for all I try to dig them up. you cant get rid of them if you once set them out. although they are pretty I hear Pa coming he sleeps a great deal up stairs & is very quiet. nothing to occupy his time. his appetite is good. he may live this way a long time. he may go in another shock life is uncertain with all of us. I have been out the biggest part of the day it agrees with me. dont worry take life calmer if you can, you will be better for it. Ma
