to drive one crazy sometimes. another cold night & cloudy tomow [[tomorrow]] the paper says warmer. we certainly are having winter early we got our glass into the door just before the snow storm struck us in the nick of time. we have hung our clothes since she has been here & the snow has covered the ground on the sleeping porch. a clothes line stretched accrosst [[across]] diagonally where they dry nicely & she dont have to go outside. she appreciates it, she has trouble in keeping her feet warm. not much of an outdoors hand. she is even so neat the kitchen shines & it makes the rest of the house look shabby. & took James in this morning to see the kitchen & gave him an apple. he is a good boy. always the same. & think & have made Miss O'Brine like him better. she says her mother is always singing his praises the same as 8am & the doctor says he could not possibly do without him. well there is nothing more to write hope you are not having our cold spell. Ma.

Zero weather Pa is wild & says he can't find his house he says he cant be shaved. he dreads everything Harris is coming to day. he wants me to turn off the heat Ma
