Stoughton Dec 7th 1933

Dear Doris

This morning it was fair & sunny but clouded in at noon. the woman has gone for the afternoon her reunion with her family is a great item in his life & suppose. she has cleaned the rest of the the china closet &+ Pa is satisfied as to its looks. I managed to give him a partial bath & changed all his clothes. his knees were pretty scaly & he rubbed them well, also his feet & I washed his body. it must make him better & if anything comes if on him sudden he wont be dirty. he is more natural & seems like him self to day. I see he keeps tabs on me pretty well as to my going & coming & worries when I am gone longer than he thinks I ought to. to day I dont [[don't]] go down & it seems a long day. we had creamed crab meat with potato. she says that salmon creamed with peas put in they like. I am going to get it the canned. I am very fond of corn chowder fry the onion in pork fat & eat the pork in little bits then leave it in she likes its. so do I but Pa dont [[don't]] he says whats [[what's]] this d_d stuff. but he eats enough if thats [[that's]] all my food tastes good to me but I dont [[don't]] over do in eating my pills & drops he gives one have something to do with my food tastin [[tasting]] good to me.
