for the eye sight, but they are ready to try. I told her that it would no do any harm if I did not come every day. so perhaps they may see me once a week or so & she said then once a month & kinder [[kinda]] keep watch of me from time to time

The Kidder family have been here to see their mother they took her for a little ride down town. he only has a few minutes away from work so comes in his every day clothes. he seems quite an interesting one to talk with. & thinks a lot of his family. the little girl has a weak heart, she is very quiet & always smiling, light complexion & the younger one dark. she had absess [[abscess]] in her ears when cutting her teeth. the mother looks careworn. she is a great worker so her mother says. very neat like her mother, her husband informed me while they were upstairs & laughed when he told me. he has traveled a great deal they lived before they came to North Easton, in Virginia. he has a sister in California, she is pretty well off so Mrs. O says & Emerson is in France works for the government. Pa is quiet now guess he has got to sleep at last. the less he sleeps in the day time the more he does at night. he gets tired & then comes down to complain to me. he gets nervous & crazy so he hardly knows how to contain himself. I hardly think he will last through the winter but you never can tell. it is terrible to go through such a life as long as he has had to & we try to do what we can to make him as comfortable as its [[it's]] possible.
