Dear Doris
A nice sunny day but a cold wind, Louie came + painted the porch he has been waiting for a sunny day to do it he came in to the kitchen to look at the plastering + said he would let you know later how much he thought it would cost. he has got the porch most all done his going to paint the steps + oil the floor it is going to look well. I asked him who was building that little cottage between Dale Dykeman + Lester Saulsbury + he said Kemp the musician who married Ruth the one that working in Balphs office. Mrs Osborne has just changed her dress + says we will have our cup of tea before my folks come to carry me home. One leg has begun to feel more natural + don't pain meas it has. I told him there were times towards morning I can see it feels as well as it ever did. he says its filling out + growing hard as the other one is. I can see its not near us flabby you cant take it up as you could. he dont think to stop coming a day. I would gain it in the end. I dont feel I am worth so much but if I can get over it theres much to be thankful for. my nerves now are the worst part of me he says its all
