Did you get any letter from Gladys, I hope she may be lucky enough by this time to find a job of some kind. but jobs are scarce. my supper is most ready by now After supper, she is reading the paper & I will finish my letter Pa has gone up to bed. he gets up his sleep the first part of the evening & gets up before light & comes down to shut off our heat. The moon is pretty bright it may keep off the storms. but it will grow cold before morning according to the nights paper. November so far has been a wicked month. theres [[there's]] no more to write so I will close. I hope you are having nice weather & no colds they are very common here Ma
