& Flossy has two sisters or I should feel obliged to have her here for the day. I may invite her now but cant tell I pity them both. Mrs Ballentine is lame used up with rhumatism she has all she can do to go up & down the steps. her brother was there Saturday helping her so we thought

I guess she may have to cut down some on her eating. the Dr says too much eating meat at that age acts as an acid on the blood, more vegetables & less meat is the proper diet, as they dont have outdoors exercise to carry it off. the Bruce boy has just been here to pay a months rent. I suppose we are lucky to get even so much from him dont know how we will ever get more. I suppose there are lots in the say way. I most wish the house were sold. The Kidders are just driving away from here. Mrs Osborner is always pleased when they come Flossy was here with them also. they had just come from Brockton where they had bought their mother two prs of union suits & two prs of silk & woolen stockins & the little one fell asleep in its mothers lap, so they did not get out. he had got to go back to work so they only stayed a minute or two. The baby is going ahead on her writing, she will be quire proficient before inwter is through. There is nothing more to say this time so I will close hope you are well & not freezing. Ma.

Little Doris I feed little brown dog to all of our bones & he comes over everytime I call him on the run to get them. he goes out with the little boys on the hill to coast. Ma.
