The housekeeper gets down on her knees to wash up floors. she says the mop is too hard for her to wring otherwise. she is painfully neat. nothing extra as a cook, but well enough. a good washer. uses three times the ammount of soap theres any need of & lots of water I hope we dont go over the limit thats the most I care about it. she is a conciensious & also a very sensitive little thing. theres no doubt but what she needs the money, as not any of her children are able to help her any. she is to be pitied. I tell her she will have to marry for a home in her old age. one of the Ames'es for instance. those two blossoms I sent last were under my big pink one there by the glass door.
