strikes him as being funny. he is very pleasant & agreeable to the nurses & the atmosphere down there does one good, after being shut in to my gloomy prison like household. Pa seems perfectly willing I should go. funny he is. no other place has he been willing to have me gone to Mrs Gilzer said last night she was glad I took that treatment. she knows of nothing else that would have reached it. They went down to their house last night. she was to meet a man to plan the under pinning to the sun porch they are going to put on. I am anxious to see it after they get started on it a bit. she says to call her up when I want her to get more butter. she gets only a little at a time so it wont get strong. I cant imagine what I'd done if she had not been to help me out. she is so thought full. I called up Jack after I got the telegram from Worcester he had'nt [[hadn't]] heard but he said they would not go to the funeral, but Irma always thought a great deal of Henry Swan & Emma & she may be for going. not many to go except Mamie Wales & Helen. so thats [[that's] the way it rests. I hope he made a will otherwise I am afraid Richard Healey will inherit more than belongs to him. but thats [[that's]] the way things go. his own cousins are in need of the money; but probably there was no will made. he was too feeble the last of his life. so there you are. I am glad he is out of his misery poor soul. he was a pretty good man Ma.
