any thing on but just a light covering over one side. I just like his rubbing there is magic in his hands & he goes over my leg as if he meant to bring it to its feeling & it does every time. the young man is very nice he seems so boyish. I got him to drive me down into the square to get me some chicken soup for my dinner & he had to go to the drugstore for something. so when he came out he asked if he had kept me waiting & I told him no I was only too glad to see something going on as I did not very often get the chance to come down into the square. he likes the town & says it seems so clean & stirring I suppose he came from Brockton but he is certainly a dear as the nurse says.
     
He says one reason its not sciatica it is too lown [[low]] down. he is awful anxious to question me the first thing in the morning & so are the nurses what kind of a night I have had he says its [[it's]] going down & soon will go off through the ends of my toes. I tell them it cant [[can't]] leave any to quick to suit me. & then its costing but if I can get rid of the darn ache I wont complain. my crotcheting [[crocheting]] money in the bank will more than pay for it I feel. I never bargained for this spell it seems funny to live a lifetime & then come to this. growing old comfortably poor Sue I often think of after all the good she had rendered to everybody to die in such misery herself.
