II. Chaplain Joseph Warren 64th U.S.C.I. is hereby assigned to duty as State Supt. of Education Bureau of Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands.

II. Lieut. Col. R.S Donaldson, 64th U.S.C.I is hereby assigned to duty as Ac't Ass't Commissioner of this Bureau for the Northern District of Mississippi, Comprising the Counties of Desoto, Marshall, Tippah,  Tishomingo, Itawamba, Pontotoc, Lafayette. Panola, Tunica, Coahoma, Tallahatchee. Yalobusha, Chickasaw, Monroe, Lowndes, Oktibbeeha, Choctaw, Carroll, Holmes, Attala, Winston, Noxubee. Kemper, Neshoba, Leake, Madison, Hinds, Rankin, Scott, Newton, Lauderdale, Clark, Jasper, Smith and Simpson with Head Quarters at Jackson. Miss. He will enter upon his duties immediately.

All officers or agents in charge of the affairs of Freedmen, Refugees or Abandoned Lands or Tenements, in said District, will report to him and be subject to his orders. 

III. Maj. Geo. D. Reynolds, 6th U.S. Colored Artillery, (NY), is hereby assigned to duty as Ac't Ass't Commissioner of the Freedmen's Bureau for the Southern Dist. of Mississippi. Conferring that part of the State south of the northern lines of the Counties of Claiborne, Copiah, Lawrence, Covington, Jones, and Wayne; and that part of Louisiana extending from the mouth of Red River to the north line of Tensas Pariah along the Mississippi River, with Head Quarters at Natchez, Miss. 

All officers or agents in charge of the affairs of Refugees, Freedmen, or Abandoned Lands, or Tenements in said district will report to him and be subject to his orders.
