He claims $12 p. month for 8 months wages from April to Novbr 1866: He wants this claim tried and adjusted by the B. and was to day again as well as in Aug. when he was here instructed how to proceed in order to take out a writ ag J H. Graves. If he had acted according to the instructions received in Aug. his claim would have been adjusted by the last C. Court. I have looked through 1860 and 1870 US CENSUSES for Mebane's first name. Saw Ruffin Mebane, in Alamance Co., which I saw on another image I transcribed. Can't find any name that looks like this first name.
