Graves. If he had acted according to the instructions received in Aug. his claim would have been adjusted by the last C. Court. I have looked through 1860 and 1870 US CENSUSES for Mebane's first name. Saw Ruffin Mebane, in Alamance Co., which I saw on another image I transcribed. Can't find any name that looks like this first name.
