Gentlemen

Attention of Mr. Germain Seligmann

I take opportunity of thanking you for the support you have given our work during the past year, and to reassure you that the facilities of this organization are yours to use whenever you require them. As a result of the assistance of our members, we have been able to add regularly to the number of services we can render you, and we invite your suggestions for additional ways in which we may be of help to you.

Besides the individual problems of our members, which receive our very careful attention, the general activities of the Association have become more essential than ever before by reason of the growth of the section which it is our aim to guide along lines most advantageous to all. Public improvements, now planned or under construction, must be followed through the completion in the interests of our entire membership. To maintain or improve upon present conditions, and, looking to the future, to anticipate as far as possible through legislation and city planning, the needs of tomorrow, is the policy which guides us in all our work.

The supervision of the affairs of this section by our Association for the past twenty-four years has played an important part in the development of the retail, business, and residential portions of the Fifth Avenue district, and has helped to safeguard investments here, and we believe that now, more than ever before, the need exists for continuing this guardianship. In our plans for the future of the section, therefore, and in our efforts to maintain its present standards and values, we look forward to the same cooperation from you that we have received and valued highly in the past

Cordially yours

Wm. J. Pedrick
