705 Fifth Avenue
New York City

Gentlemen

I desire to present to you a very cordial invitation to become a member of The Fifth Avenue Association.

For the past nineteen years, The Fifth Avenue Association has been constructively building the favorable environment in which you are conducting your business. I feel that it is not exaggeration to say that it has been this organization which has largely helped to make a Fifth Avenue address the most desirable of any address, anywhere.

A catalogue of real achievements of the Association and a list of the many activities it is now interested in, for the purpose continuing to safeguard Fifth Avenue from the intrusion of undesirable elements — from the encroachment of conditions in which your business could not permanently endure, would astonish you.

The relentless alertness of The Fifth Avenue Association has, without question, enhanced the Avenues value from both a business and reality standpoint, and continued vigilance is necessary if the present character of our Avenue and of the Fifth Avenue Section is to be protected and if its facilities for the accommodation of business are to be enhanced.

In the light of these facts, I feel very strongly that every business man and every business in the vicinity of Fifth Avenue should give to The Fifth Avenue Association its financial, as well as its moral support.

Will you not, therefore, give us this support, which is so vitally necessary in the protection of your interests? An application blank for this purpose is enclosed herewith.

Sincerely yours,

M. Friedsam
